GENERAL CONDITIONS OF RETURN
These terms and conditions of return of ALPHATEC INNOVATIONS are applicable only to products purchased directly from www.xiaomi-belgium.be. If you buy products through offline channels, please contact the end seller who sells you the products for the return policy. All returns must comply with the terms and conditions for the individual return policy to apply.
- All product returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. You can contact us to obtain an RMA number.
- If you return items in which you have stored personal information, you must completely erase this information before returning the product to us. For MI Phone, you must also log out of the IM account before sending it back to us.
- Return shipping charges may be deducted from your refund if a return is initiated for a defective product that turns on and operates properly during the inspection. The cost of return may vary depending on the size and weight of the product.
- When purchasing large items (e.g. scooter), please keep the original packaging for at least 15 days during the return policy period in case of return or replacement request.
- Products received by ALPHATEC INNOVATIONS in any of the following conditions cannot be returned and will be rejected:
- Any product not bought at xiaomi-belgium.be
- Any product whose IMEI label or serial number, manufacturer's model, or part number label is missing, damaged, altered, or illegible.
- Any product returned without the original packaging and accessories, including the retail box, manuals, cables and any other items originally included with the product.
- Any product with physical damage.
- Any product that appears to be altered, personalized or modified in any way.
STANDARD RETURN POLICY
- Return for refund within 15 calendar days from the date of invoice or delivery date, whichever is later. Return for replacement within 15 calendar days from invoice date or delivery date, whichever is later.
- We offer you the possibility to return the product via a prepaid carrier. A bill of lading number can be obtained by email after creating RMA through the ALPHATEC INNOVATIONS Contact Center.
- Return shipping fees are free for refund and replacement of the same item within the return policy period, only if the product is defective due to a manufacturing defect.
RETURN SHIPPING
ALPHATEC INNOVATIONS will only pay the return shipping fee if an item is defective due to a manufacturing defect. The article must conform to XIAOMI's return policy. A bill of lading number can be obtained by email after creating an RMA number through the ALPHATEC INNOVATIONS Customer Contact Center.
- Return shipping charges may be deducted from your refund depending on the reason for the return. (ie a return for a defective product when it turns on and works properly during the inspection).
- When purchasing large items (e.g. scooter), please keep the original packaging for at least 15 days during the return policy period in case of return or replacement request.
- The cost of return may vary depending on the size and weight of the product.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
SALE IN PACKAGE
The package includes two or more items that must be purchased together. Items sold as part of a package cannot be returned individually for refund or replacement. To receive a refund or replacement, all items in the package must be returned, within the period of the applicable MI Return Policy.
PROMOTIONAL ITEMS
ALPHATEC INNOVATIONS can offer free promotional items with their products. To receive a refund or replacement on a purchase that offers promotional items, all items must be returned. Otherwise, the return for refund or replacement will be refused.
ITEMS OUT OF STOCK
If ALPHATEC INNOVATIONS no longer transports an item that is sent for a replacement, or if that item is simply out of stock, ALPHATEC INNOVATIONS will refund you.
HOW TO RETURN AN ARTICLE MI
This tutorial will guide you through the process of returning a XIAOMI item purchased on www.xiaomi-belgium.be.
- First, you can request an RMA number by contacting ALPHATEC INNOVATIONS Customer Service, and you will receive an email containing a pre-paid waybill number within one business day.
- Then you have to back up your data and erase all the personal data on the product.
- Then follow the instructions in the email: pack the product correctly, go to the nearest delivery point and fill out the waybill. The delivery company will send the product to the authorized XIAOMI service center.
- Finally, the authorized XIAOMI service center will process your return request after receipt of the product.
- You can use the bill of lading number to track the status of the shipment.
NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN
If you are not able to create a return, this may be due to one of the following reasons.
1. THE ARTICLE HAS PASSED THE RETURN PERIOD.
If your item has exceeded the eligible return period, you cannot return it to ALPHATEC INNOVATIONS, but you can still get a warranty with XIAOMI for repair or replacement. To check the coverage and options of the XIAOMI warranty, please refer to the Warranty Policy page.
2. OTHER REASON
If an item complies with the return policy and qualifying return period listed on the product's product page, but you cannot create a return, please contact us for assistance.

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO PROFIT OTHER RIGHTS UNDER APPLICABLE LAW IN YOUR COUNTRY, AREA, OR DEPARTMENT. IN SOME COUNTRIES, REGIONS OR STATES, CONSUMER LAW IMPOSES A MINIMUM DURATION OF GUARANTEE. UNLESS REQUIRED BY LAW, ALPHATEC-INNOVATIONS DOES NOT EXCLUDE, LIMIT, OR SUSPEND OTHER RIGHTS YOU MAY BENEFIT FROM. IN ORDER TO FULLY KNOW YOUR RIGHTS, WE INVITE YOU TO CONSULT THE LAWS APPLICABLE IN YOUR COUNTRY, REGION OR DEPARTMENT.
This contractual warranty is applicable only to the hardware components of a Xiaomi Product (hereinafter "Product") as provided and is not applicable to any software or other equipment owned by Xiaomi or any third party for which a license agreement has been granted. user or a separate warranty/representations or disclaimers of warranty would be provided or would apply.
LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY
ALPHATEC-INNOVATIONS warrants to the original purchaser that its Xiaomi Product will not be defective in materials and workmanship under normal use for the duration of the Warranty. Unless otherwise stated in applicable law, the Warranty offered by Xiaomi covers a period of: two (2) years for the host unit, six (6) months for the battery and charger initially provided with the product, three (3) months for headphones, if any, from the date of purchase of the Product. Notwithstanding the foregoing clause, ALPHATEC-INNOVATIONS does not exclude, limit or suspend the statutory minimum warranty period imposed by applicable law.
ALPHATEC-INNOVATIONS does not warrant that the operation of the Product will remain uninterrupted and error-free.
REMEDY
If a material problem occurs and a valid claim is received during the warranty period, ALPHATEC-INNOVATIONS will (1) repair the Product free of charge, using refurbished or new parts, (2) replace the Product with a new or refurbished product or (3) refund the Product, excluding any shipping costs.
In case of default, these remedies will be the only and only remedies possible, within the limits authorized by law. Shipping and handling charges may apply, except where prohibited by law. Any replaced product will be warranted until the end of the original warranty period or for thirty (30) days, whichever is most advantageous to the customer, or during any additional period of time, that may apply in your jurisdiction.
HOW TO GET A GUARANTEE SERVICE
Depending on the legislation in force, ALPHATEC-INNOVATIONS may ask you to present proof or proof of purchase and the warranty card with the serial number of the Product. It is your responsibility to make a backup copy of all your data, from your personal data to downloaded software or other files or programs stored on the product. Data, software or other information about the equipment may be lost or deleted during the service process, and ALPHATEC-INNOVATIONS cannot be held responsible for such damage or loss.
EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS
Unless otherwise specified by ALPHATEC-INNOVATIONS, this Limited Warranty applies only to the Product manufactured by or for Xiaomi and identifiable by the trademarks, trade name or "Xiaomi" or "Mi" logo.
This Limited Warranty does not apply in the following circumstances: (a) Damage resulting from natural events or disasters (e.g. lightning, tornadoes, floods, fires, earthquakes or other foreign causes); (b) Negligence; (c) Commercial use; (d) Alterations or modifications of a part of the Product; (e) Damage caused by the use of products other than Xiaomi; (f) Damage caused by accident, abuse or misuse; (g) Damage caused by use of the Product other than the uses indicated by Xiaomi, or with inadequate voltage or power supply; (h) Damage caused by the intervention (including updates and improvements) made by anyone other than a Xiaomi representative or (i) failure to comply with the instructions for use of the Product.
Recovery and reinstallation of software and user data are not covered by this Limited Warranty. No agent, employee or reseller of Xiaomi is authorized to modify, improve or extend this Limited Warranty. If a provision is deemed unlawful or unenforceable, the legality or enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected or impaired.
Except where prohibited by law or in the event of ALPHATEC-INNOVATIONS 's promise to the contrary, after-sales services will be limited to the country or region of the original purchase.
Products not properly manufactured by Xiaomi and/or not properly purchased from Xiaomi or an authorized Xiaomi reseller are not covered by these warranties. In accordance with applicable law, you can take advantage of warranties from the unofficial reseller who sold the product. In this case, Xiaomi invites you to contact the reseller in question.
This warranty does not apply to Hong Kong or Taiwan.
IMPLIED WARRANTIES
Except as permitted by applicable law, all implied warranties (including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) will be limited in duration to this Limited Warranty. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts. In these cases, the above limitation will not apply.
LIMITATION OF DAMAGES
Except where prohibited by law, Xiaomi cannot be held liable for any damage caused by an accident, consequential, special or consequential damages, including the loss of profits, income or data, damages resulting from the breach of an express or implied condition of warranty or other legal basis, even if Xiaomi has been informed of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of special, indirect, or consequential damages. The above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
EU GUARANTEE SERVICE
In accordance with the legislation in force in the European Union, Xiaomi offers warranty service between countries where Xiaomi officially sells its Products. If you have purchased your Product in Belgium, Poland, Spain, France, Italy or Portugal, you can request warranty service in any of these countries.
